Includes DVD and 100 Page Book!!!! ROCK CASE STUDIES weighs in on the musical legacy of the band that virtually embodied 1970s pomp rock, Queen. This critical perspective assesses the band's entire musical output--from their 1973 self-titled debut to their 1991 swan song, INNUENDO--through rare archival footage, live-performance clips, and interviews with Queen insiders like producers Jeff Griffin and Les Davidson. Definitive overview of one of the greatest pop-rock acts ever, including expert analysis of their back catalogue by a host of music critics and journalists. Archival footage and interviews with the band--as well as prominent music industry figures--offer up further insight into Queen’s incredible success story.

There are far better docu's on Queen....I agree w/the other reviews on very specific points about Queen...Freddie never let anyone define him the leader of the band....he is quick to defy that stating the band is made up of 4 ppl...it was Freddie's job to interact w/the audience which he was phenomenal at doing. Queen was far from the stereo typical Rock bands & this was why they were able to go as far & into uncharted territories & do so quite well. It was ingenious as it also seated this is what great bands do...never holding themselves to just one style. I do not ever recall Queen making a reference to Led Zepplin especially to say they were influenced by them. It took me 2 days to finish watching this..it is most certainly on the very low end when it comes to the best docu's on Queen.
