I have a queen size. The box wasn’t damaged in shipping, but one of the bottom leg caps was slit at two points. I ended up wrapping black electrical tape around it and you can’t tell there was an issue with it. When inspecting the pieces, I found that it’s pretty cheaply made in that a lot of the connection points were pretty sloppily soldered. The directions weren’t great and took a little figuring out. My dad and I had it done in 1.5 hours. But with all these problems, the bed ended up being perfect. When all put together, you can’t see the imperfections. The material itself feels solid. Zero squeaks, though we were careful not to tighten anything until the end. I have a 13” tempurpedic mattress on it, and it feels solid. Also was concerned about not seeing enough of the headboard with a thick mattress but it’s good. I wanted a footboard but my room is really small. This is a good compromise because it still has a bar at the foot of the bed, which keeps bedding tucked in. This is a lot higher than I was anticipating which is fine for me, but just something to consider if you need lower. I was considering giving this 4 stars for all the issues outlined above, but for $70 this bed really is fantastic!Ps- if you have memory foam, be sure to get a bunkie board if you don’t use a box spring as the slats on this frame are 6” apart.Edit- Listed dimensions are 75” L, I knew it would be 80” from reading reviews I was able to find online so thought you should know.
