I love this lipstick. It is so flattering. Makes your teeth look whiter. Stays on longer and so moisturizing to your lips.Very good lipstick but too expensive !Miss Old Flame color.I have been using this - the " Hello Sailor" for a few years- It is very flattering and makes your teeth look whiter! Want to try some of the others by this brand- My only complaint, and not so much the shippers fault- Is, I live in Kona, HI- had of the stick fell off! I wish there was a better way to send it here- i would pay extra as this is a great product!Lipstick Queen has long been my favorite lipstick brand. Their basic lipsticks are lovely, and their color-changing lipsticks (also lovely) are fun. some of my favorites are Medieval (in the "Saints and Sinners" line, I believe), Pawn (in the Lipstick Chess line), and the color changing lipsticks: Frog Prince (which I just read has been, or is being, discontinued), Morning Sunshine (a lovely "lip" shade), and Highway 66. These react to your own lip color to make a semi-sheer shade just right for you. The Lipstick Chess line also has King,Queen, and Bishop, all of which are too dark for me.Bought for a friend but have used this lipstick in the past. Color always flattering (coral on me), nice scent, nice texture, decent longevity. This was really smooth and moisturizing and nice color stayed on a normal amount of timeI bought both the "Hello Sailor" and the "Frog Prince". This first part of the review is about both as they feel taste and smell the same, they both change color with the pH of your skin. Love them!! Oh they go on so smooth and nice. They don't feel heavy or tacky, it don't have a weird smell or taste like so many name brand lipsticks. (I don't want to taste roses or whatever, yuck!)HELLO SAILOR: The color for me went on a bit blue and then changed right away to a lovely raisin/rose shade. I'm a neutral to warm-toned gal, on whom warm colors turn orange, and cool colors turn blue (again, ick). This makes buying lipstick a pain. Based on other reviews and pictures (thanks for those!) I decided to give this a whirl. It's just the color I was looking for when wearing more cool-toned clothes like blues or purples. The smooth feel wears off after a while and there is a bit of color left as a sort of stain. That's really nice! Especially since I'm not always near my lipstick to apply right away. I've ordered two - one to keep in my purse and one to keep with my makeup.FROG PRINCE: My DD got this color (she's very pale with red hair) b/c she struggles with lipstick being too bright for her complexion. Many colors turn pink on her. She saw this and decided to try it. She absolutely loved the color. It looked so great on her I decided to try it as well. I'm so glad I did. It's a lovely shade of reddish rose w/o being garish in the least. I don't have the coloring to support that lovely bright red that looks fabulous on so many others. This is soft and simply gorgeous! I'm a convert. I will be getting a second one of these as well to keep with me. I couldn't be more happy.I LOVE this lipstick and cannot recommend it enough. I have Frog Prince which goes a warm, deep rose-pink on me but I wanted something a bit more summery, so decided to try Morning Sunshine and it’s a perfect light pretty pink with a hint of peach in it. Like Frog Prince this is very moisturising and leaves your lips soft and hydrated - I say this as someone who has only ever been able to use Vaseline as usual lipsticks leave me with dry and unsightly lips - this is the only brand on lipstick I can and will ever wear now.To counter the negative reviews, this along with Frog Prince is clearly described as a colour that develops as a balm, so if you’re looking for a ‘true’ lipstick, this is not for you. You should put it on and wait a few minutes and see how the colour develops on you, and if you want to intensify the colour add another layer and see what it looks like in a few minutes. Like I’ve said this is super hydrating and flattering (my skin tone ranges from pale to lightly tanned depending on time of year) and the colour is subtle whilst still being obvious you have a lipstick on.Absolutely love this product. The first time I purchased it was via duty free on holiday as a little treat for myself, but once I tried it I was hooked. It’s definitely lush and moisturises your lips - have also tried Eyebrow Queen which is very good for setting eyebrow makeup. I have not been able to find Lip Queen in the shops, I understand it’s an Australian product and still needs to make a big impact onto the UK market. £20 seems to be the normal price when there are stocks available, otherwise I have seen it for about £40. To be honest when I had run out I was very tempted to pay the £40 for it, but found it hard to justify - but waited another 6 weeks and was able to find it for £20 again. If you buy it I hope you enjoy it’s much as I have :-)It’s more a lip balm than anything else but is a novelty. I am brown-skinned and my lips are naturally pink and this really doesn’t add any form of colour to it, not even a slightly subtle plum. Comes off easily when eating/drinking. It does moisturise nicely though, but not drastically better than a chapstick. Wouldn’t repurchaseLipstick queen products are a guarantee. You know that you will get a great product that will feel good on you, will keep you moisturized, the color will be also long lasting, subtle but there. This particular one is flattering on my face, it’s not too bold, it gives a healthy color on the lips and it can be worn every day, no matter the occasion. This is more like a lovely moisturising lip balm with the added bonus of some colour and it doesn't leave lipstick marks on glasses. I think this is the only lipstick I've ever bought that actually plumps my lips, although it doesn't claim to. Great for keeping lips moist behind masks, without leaving lipstick smears all over your face and the mask.
